NYC FOUNDER FIRST INVESTOR AWARD

Founders, this is your opportunity to publicly recognize an investor who has been instrumental in your entrepreneurial journey - beyond just capital. By nominating, you're acknowledging their role in helping founders lead, scale, and build category defining companies

For the last 7 years, Forum Ventures has been headquartered in New York City. We've seen it transform from an emerging startup scene to a world-class tech hub.

Thousands of startups call New York City home, and over the last two-decades, some of the world’s best investors have set up shop here, including: Union Square Ventures, Primary Venture Partners, Greycroft, FirstMark, Work-Bench, Eniac Ventures, Boldstart Ventures, Thrive Capital, Lerer Hippeau and many more.

But it’s not just capital that transformed Silicon Alley.

Talk to any founder and you’ll hear stories about:

  • Great mentors, advisors, advice, and support.
  • Investors who introduced them to their first customers and helped hire their first employee.
  • A community that showed up during the difficult times.

Today, we’re excited to launch the inaugural Founder First Award in our home city of NYC. Our goal is to celebrate the investors making a real difference and help connect founders to the most useful investor on their cap-table.

If you’re a founder, and have an exceptional investor on your cap-table, nominate them. We can’t wait to hear from you. Nominations close Thursday, May 16th.
