Program FAQs

How much do you invest in each company?

We invest $100k USD in each company joining our program. We’re usually the first check in, and we write checks quickly, which founders truly appreciate.

What type of founders would be a good fit for your program?

We love working with founders who are passionate about what they’re building, have strong founder-market fit, and are looking for a fractional co-founder to guide them in the areas of their business that they’re not quite experts in and push them to the next stage. We work best with coachable founders who are both driven and nice.

What is your stance on Diversity & Inclusion?

We believe we have a platform and the responsibility to make We’re committed to building a diverse team, cohort and community. We’re actively working on this by increasing diversity in our mentors, building educational modules to help our founders build out their own diverse and inclusive teams, and more.

How does the application process work?

When you’re ready to apply, go ahead and fill out our application form. We’ll then get back to you within 1-2 weeks on whether or not it makes sense to have a call with our team. We get hundreds of applications each program, and we can’t personally respond to everyone. But rest assured, we will get back to you.

How do you evaluate applications?

We love working with companies from the 0-1 stage and are often the first institutional check into a company. However, these aren’t hard and fast rules as we love to meet companies regardless of stage. While each company is unique and evaluated on a case-by-case basis, some of the basic criteria we look for are teams that are full time and post-MVP. After that, we take into account things like founder-market fit, and the business’ potential to become venture scale one day. We will then look at the risks that come with the business in an effort to get comfortable with an investment decision.
